I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER FOR A FEW WEEKS NOW..
JUST GOT FIRST EDITION OF DIRTY BOBBERS.. SO FEELIN A LITTLE ASHAMED
AS NOT HAVIN INTRODUCED MYSELF AS YET , ( UNFORTUNATELY I HAVE BEEN
NOT ABLY TO GIVE MUCH TIME TO STUDING THE FORUM AND HOW IT WORKS ..).
I HAVE DISAPLINED MYSELF TO AT LEAST SAY A QUICK HELLO.....
I WOULD FIRSTLY LIKE TO THANK SCARLETT N SIMO N ANYONE ELSE'S
RESPONSABLE, FOR TAKING THE TIME , NOT ONLY, TO PUT TOGETHER
THE WEB FORUM N TO ADMINISTRATE IT ! ... BUT ALSO FOR THEIR EFFORTS
IN PUBLISHING A QUARTLY MAG AS WELL.. TIS EFFORTS LIKE THIS
THAT KEEP OUR SUB CULTURES ALIVE N VIBRANT..
WELL DONE ALSO TO ALL MEMBERS FOR THEIR INTREST N IMPUT..

... THE BORIN BIT... I'VE BEEN SCRATCHIN ABOUT IN BARNS SINCE I WAS A SMALL BOY IN
THE SIXTIES.. N HAVIN BEEN EXPOSED AT AN EARLY AGE TO ROCKER CULTURE, N LIVIN VERY
NEAR SEVERAL RACE CIRCUTS IT WAS OBVOIUS THAT I HAD AN INTREST IN ALL THINGS
MECHANICAL.. ONE ONLY HAD TO SEARCH ME POCKETS ON LEAVIN SCHOOL? IM SURE IF
DURIN THE DAY IF I SPOTTED ANYTHIN,, BOLTABLE, WELDABLE, SCREWABLE, N IF I COULD GET IT
BACK TO ME DEN THEN IT WAS GOIN TO GOOD USE IN ME NEXT PROJECT .. OFFICALY BY THE
LATE 70'S AT THE AGE OF 17 I HAD CHOPPED ME FIRST ROAD LEGAL MACHINE.. I REMBER PICKING
UP STREET CHOPPER MAG FIRST IN 74 .. CONTINUED TO FOLLOW IT FOR SEVERAL YEARS THROUGH
"HANDME DOWNS" OR AS N WHEN I CAME ACROSS IT .. OF COURSE THERE OTHER INFLUENCES..
LIKE LOCAL ROCKER BIKE GANGS N SUCH.. TWAS THE FREEDOM SADDLE JUNKIE THING...!
MY PERSONAL TASTES N MACHINES ARE VERY OFTEN MY DOWNFALL..
.IE : THE MISSUS IS ALWAYS SCREAMIN AT ME TO "GET DEM DIRTY GIRDERS N SUCH OT DA DAM BED"
IF THEY WERE COOKIE CUT BILLET ALLOY I WOULD'NT GET SO MUCH GRIEF...!
I LIKE GREASE N OIL . .FLATANKERS, TRACKERS, INTERWAR SPRINTS ,
OLD SKOOLBRITS.. RATRODS / BIKES.. HOEDOWN ROCK N BLUES.. I BUILD XS650/880 N NORUISH TRUMPTS
ENGINE UNITS FOR SPRINT N HILLCLIMBS ( STROKED N REPHASED).. BOBBERS N OLDSKOOL CHOPS...
HAVE SEVERAL MACHINES ... .N A LOT OF MAD MEMORIES....

Thanks guy's for the welcome.. n to Steve for pointin out bout the caps lock stuck on.....
I just have this switched on an only monitor .. as an when I get a chance to ..so if it looks as if I'm on line
may be I am but just busy and glance once n a while.... loads of pic's there be of lots a rusty scruffy stuff ..
when I get some time I'l figure out this interface this mac is showin me ... uploadin pics is not the only
thing provin very difficuld but just changing the font addin a smiley hyperlink any of the variables just
above this type window are provin a glitch and throwin the mac into midlife crisis ... totaly lost ..?!!

Hmmm Nourish builder..... I might be picking your brains when I finish my TriBSA. I have vague plans to build a 8V street motor next (and I suppose I'll need some kind of rolling chassis for it)

When I'm in the Den I have this DB forum on an just hangin.. I am usually searchin some where on a site for parts or info or something.
Every now n then I get a chance to read the latest posts or at least I try to. Now this one is of great personal intrest to my self's as I am a "Paranoid
Skitzophrenic" that spends more time looking behind myself's rather than at the road whilst riding my machines... probably due to growing up in Belfast please give it a read and anyone who thinks it not suitable the please do let me know ..I will be only to happy to stick to the agenda at hand n try to stop dribbling all over this D.B.F. will soon have my blog up n running and you may then tune in to such Jawin n Tripe there ...
